Who is missing, and why
Until 11 August 2026 these names were missing, because we had not verified their handles and a handle written from memory is a mistake that spreads. On 12 August we opened them one by one: two were wrong in the very form that circulates. The Vice President is not "@JDVance", which does not exist, but @JDVance1; and Sean Hannity is written all lowercase.
Verifying that an account exists is a different thing from being able to read it: of these we read nothing, and next to each one it says why. The Secretary of State is the case where the difference shows best: his Department publishes an official feed, and that one we do read.
A clarification the sources themselves make easy to get wrong: being "among the most followed accounts" is not the same as being in the feed. They are two different claims, and until someone publishes the official list of the ten accounts, for us they stay unknown.
